Experience
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of SharePoint experience, at least 2-3 years with MOSS 2007 Must have broad, documented experience working with SharePoint technologies, with specific examples of experience deploying, administering, and configuring MOSS 2007.
- This Experience Will IncludeInstallation and configuration of SharePoint environmentsBasic SharePoint tasks
- Creation of sites, sub-sites, and sub areasDevelopment of data views
- Management of user populationMoving sites and lists within the MOSS environment
- Understanding of MOSS architecture and mid-size SharePoint web farms (i.e. web front ends, index servers, and database server architectures)Implementation of features and web partsSharePoint workflowSpecialized Knowledge And Skills
- Must have documented experience implementing, managing, and documenting a production SharePoint environment with several hundred users.
- Must be technically deep able to articulate the positive and negative aspects of how architectural choices impact the SharePoint environment and end-users.
- Must be familiar with the SharePoint security architecture and how it interfaces to Active Directory.
- Must be a self-starter who is passionate about SharePoint and how it can impact an organization
- Documented knowledge and experience using project management methodologies
- Ability to design and implement best practice architectures for SharePoint servers and data storage.
- Must be well versed in the setup, configuration, and management of SharePoint environments.
- Must have the ability to develop and implement all necessary operational processes to insure a well-functioning and secure SharePoint environment.
- Must be skilled in using server and SharePoint metrics to determine overall system health, and apply those metrics to capacity planning needs.
- Also would prefer if candidates were skilled in transforming verbal descriptions of required functionality into design mock ups.
- Must have a professional attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work with well with senior level staff in the planning and budgeting for any hardware and software requirements.
