Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or 5 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Work related experience should consist of a technical background in information systems management, products or services.
  • Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or technical industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of increasing responsibility in SharePoint (in a bank environment preferably).
  • Advanced experience, knowledge and training in SharePoint 2013 including Site Design, Governance, Promotion of solutions from Development to Production, Managing multi-Server SharePoint farms, Backup and DR solutions.
  • Moderate experience, knowledge and training in MSSQL 2008 including Permissions, Store Procedure migrations, and DB backup and recovery.
  • Advanced experience, knowledge and training in progressively responsible information technology department operations and supervisory activities.
  • Advanced knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to provide leadership.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence and procedures, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
  • Thorough understanding of management procedures; ability to plan department or Company activities (setting objectives, developing strategies, budgeting, and developing policies and procedures); initiative to organize various functions necessary to accomplish department or Company activities; effectively staff (selecting, training and developing employees); directing employees towards the desired objectives (delegating, motivating, resolving problems); controlling the function (developing performance standards, measuring results, taking corrective action and rewarding employees as appropriate).
  • Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Ability to work with no supervision while performing duties Participate in the creation and maintenance of the companys SharePoint governance model.
  • Will ensure that the SharePoint system has been built and configured to support the governance model, that all changes to the system adhere to the governance model, and will identify and report governance violations.
  • Managing and checking the overall SharePoint environment health and functionality.
  • Will analyze and reporting upon SharePoint usage and activity.
  • Will proactively recommend and implement system changes based on this analysis to prevent future issues from arising.
  • Will continually augment and improve monitoring and trending capabilities to prevent unknown system risks arising.
  • Assures audit compliance and procedure quality control through internal and external reviews; recommends and initiates corrective actions; ensures system resources are in compliance with established company policies, procedures and state and federal regulations.
  • Consistently applies superior decision making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals and requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures, keeping within assigned approval limits and using these instances as learning tools for employee development.
  • Manages and assists in the identification and resolution of user issues or inquiries, such as system access, hardware problems or software support questions; oversees the administration of the companys information technology case logging system to ensure technical issues are properly reported and resolved within established quality service level guidelines; responds to inquiries and refers issues to the appropriate department or person, and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved.
  • Manages and assists in the execution of routine system or user administrative tasks, such as system specification changes or the addition, change, or deletion of employees on the companys various systems and networks; ensures necessary documentation is attained and properly authorized for such requests; originates and maintains system and user files.
  • Manages the Infrastructure teams participation in the companys incident response team in the event of a technology emergency or breach in confidential information.
  • Responds to inquiries or refers inquiries to the appropriate department or person, and exhibiting the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved.
  • Create and maintain documentation that describes the system configuration (Configuration Management Database [CMDB]).Regular review of events and messages reported in Event Viewer and Performance Monitor.
  • Maintains SharePoint alerting system such that false positive events are filtered out and actionable events are vectored to the correct support teams.
  • Regular review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites Responsible for detecting of operating system, SQL and SharePoint patches, creating a patch deployment plan and the execution of the patch deployment plan.Manage SharePoint permissions.
  • Moving/copying sites Oversees the release of development solutions into the production environment.
  • Responsible for the backup and recovery of the SharePoint system.
  • Will hold a secondary role as the Production MSSQL DBA.SharePoint Expert Participate as an interactive SharePoint environment expert for both the user community, developers and internal infrastructure staff.
  • Will be the licensing expert of the SharePoint solution (SharePoint, SQL Server, Windows, etc)Works as a member of the IT Operations Management Team assisting in the development of strategic plans, reviewing reports; helps organize plans and makes recommendations for information technology projects involving functional changes within the company and budgets
  • Plays a major role in the development, growth and training of company staff on information technology resources, programs, and applications through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manages the maintenance of accurate and current information technology policies, procedures and related documentation, such as installation settings, specifications, diagrams, etc.
  • Assumes responsibility for special projects; gathers data and prepares reports for Senior Management, audits and other personnel.
