Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Master Pages and Site and Page Layouts using SharePoint Designer.
  • Develop new workflows, custom components, web-parts, event receivers, etc., using SharePoint Object Model, Client Object Model and SharePoint APIs.
  • Understand user needs and exploring user-centered designs.Specify, build, test, deploy, maintain, and support application codeImplement change requests to existing SharePoint 2013 sites and workflows.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support including responding to incidents, troubleshooting, and executing corrective action within the SharePoint farms.
  • Assist in-house customers in SharePoint Administration support, work instructions and documentation detailing best practices for SharePoint.
  • Support for administration, troubleshooting, configuration, system security, installation, deployment, maintenance, and high availability design.
  • Site creation, user training, ensuring proper backups and restores as necessary.
  • Enforce SharePoint best practices and optimization.Problem resolution may involve identification of complex system problems, restarting failing services, complete software reload, and/or system level file recovery.
  • Documenting problem resolution steps and procedures.Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives.
  • Environment knowledge of Windows 2003/2008/2012 Enterprise Server, SQL Server 2008 and 2012, and Active Directory.Migrate to newer versions of SharePoint if required.
  • Administer SharePoint Farm in a multi-server architecture.
  • Perform other operations and maintenance support tasks as needed, including assisting in Information Assurance activities for vulnerabilities, patches and updates.
  • Collaborate with management to estimate work effort, schedule tasks and milestones, and measure performance.
  • Actively participate in code and design reviews.Self-starter with ability to work with little direction and ambiguity.
  • Experience working effectively in and fostering highly collaborative, team-oriented environments.
QualificationsRequired:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related field (or the equivalent years of experience).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with SharePoint administration and development.
  • Active in-scope Secret clearance.
Required skills/experience:
  • Experience developing custom components, web-parts, event receivers, etc., using SharePoint Object Model, Client Object Model and SharePoint APIs using ASP.net, C# and Visual Studio in SharePoint 2010, 2013.
  • Experience with SharePoint Web Services, JQuery, and Language Integrated Query (LINQ).
  • Experience with administration of SharePoint Farm in a multi-server architecture.
  • Ability to implement Security Mitigation through application software and security patches.
