  • The SharePoint Developer will work closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers to deliver applications which meet or exceed the functionality requirements.
  • The candidate must be able to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical teammates in the development of solution requirements, delivery timelines, testing strategy, deployment process and planning for transition to operational support.
  • During the course of this job, the candidate will have to provide occasional after-hours and weekend support as dictated by project timelines and production issues.
Essential Functions:
  • Create and execute task timelines, revising as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Encourage best practice development and documentation standards.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality solutions to clients before deadlines.
  • Develop right-sized solutions that can be delivered within constraints of available time, budget, and technology resources. Perform Tier 2 SharePoint administration functions as a member of the greater SharePoint Team.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled SharePoint Team meetings, troubleshooting efforts, brainstorming/design sessions, etc. Other duties as assigned.

  • 3+ years in SharePoint Development as a SharePoint-focused Developer.
  • Experience using Visual Studio 2012+ to build legacy WSP solutions. Knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applications.
  • Experience communicating technical information both verbally (e.g. via phone, one-on-one, and in group settings) and in writing (e.g. emails, letters, reports, and presentations) to various technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrates a strong working understanding of troubleshooting techniques and strategies including an ability to use troubleshooting tools.
  • Demonstrates an ability to effectively manage multiple project deliverables on concurrent projects.
  • Occasional travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Multi-language programming experience.
  • Preferred languages include: HTML5, CSS3, JS, XML, XSLT, CSOM, C#, Bootstrap, CAML.
  • Experience working with and supporting SharePoint Server 2007 2013.
  • Experience using SQL Server 2008 2014 and associated SQL Reporting Services.
  • Familiarity with communication/authentication protocols such as Claims Authentication, NTLM, Kerberos, SAML, FBA, Multi-factor Authentication, OAuth2, OData, REST, ADFS, BCS/BCD. E
  • xperience using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath Form Designer.
