Sr. Java Developer
Location: Costs Mesa, CA
- We are looking for strong Java developers who are self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced agile development environment, and are always looking for a better way to do things.
- You will play a key role in designing and building a large scale distributed integration environment.
- At least six years of relevant software development experience
- A degree in computer science or a similar field, or additional relevant work experience
- Exceptional programming skills in Java/Groovy and the open source ecosystem
- Proficient with web services development with REST/JSON interfaces
- Comfortable with agile software development methodologies: Scrum, unit testing, code reviews, etc.
- Eager to constantly improve and grow existing systems and methodologies
- Creative and innovative energy Additional Preferred Experience
- Working knowledge of Oracle/SQL.
- Experience with deploying web applications using Tomcat, or similar.
- Experience developing Dropwizard services.
- Familiarity with Maven build automation.
- Familiarity creating and using Docker images.
- Experience working with remote teams
- Hands-on experience with Cassandra is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Cloud environments and technologies
