MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • LeadershipLead the effort to develop online ecommerce strategies that optimize Universal Orlando Resort's direct-to-consumer pre-arrival marketing and sales channel, Universalorlando.com, to meet or exceed online business goals.
  • Be the resident expert on the capabilities of the functionality on UO.com. Utilize that functionality to its full capability to drive optimal resultsMarketing Strategy and PlanningManage ticket merchandising strategy for UO.com based on strategic priorities. Apply testing strategies to optimize ecommerce tactics and provide business performance metrics and recommendations on how to improve program results.
  • Build and accelerate a testing culture with cross functional marketing ream through continuous improvement processesUnderstand and activate guest needs through analysis of user behavior and secondary/primary researchProject ManagementResponsible for enhancing the online customer shopping experience on UO.com and UO.com mobile to drive increases in conversion and attendance.
  • Serve as Marketing liaison / business lead to IT for website development projects - define and communicating business / functional requirements for the development of website functionality that effectively enables marketing strategies on Universalorlando.com e.g. personalization, product development / placement.Insure user experience is optimized by utilizing industry best practices in usability, research, etc.
  • Resource ManagementResponsible for reviewing and monitoring competitive websites and trends in ecommerce, their particular specialty area/vertical and website design/functionality.
  • Bring the organization's attention to new ideas / technologies for Universalorlando.com as they emerge.
  • Act as marketing team representative to various internal 'clients' who rely on universalorlando.com to advance their business needs.
  • Accountability and ReportingDevelop standard reporting and analysis that effectively communicates to senior leadership the results and business impact of online initiatives.
  • Analyze product performance and customer feedback and respond quickly to diagnose and correct any problems.
