Description The position is for a very technically savvy hands-on OBIEE 11g Architect/Developer who would

1. Participate in requirements definitions

2. Review existing reporting model

3. Develop the target data model. Should be capable of doing dimensional data modeling for reporting.

4. Develop the draft reporting model. Should be very comfortable developing and extending complex OBIEE reporting models.

5. Develop reporting/analytics/dashboard prototypes

6. Validate prototypes.

7. Finalize and deploy reporting artifacts.

8. Develop/implement extensible dashboard/reporting framework that can accommodate implementation of future reporting artifacts

This is the short-term trial engagement with a goal of a year-long contracting engagement after which we would look to hire a contractor as a full-time employee or extend as a contractor for another long-term engagement, based on the contractor's preference. The contractor will be an integral part of the Enterprise Information Management team and will lead the business intelligence effort. The team is in process of designing and implementing the enterprise data warehouse using the latest and greatest tools and technologies, including Teradata 14.10, Informatica Power Center, Data Replication, Data Services, Data Quality, and industry-standard data model (managed in Erwin). Knowledge of any of these technologies is a big plus. Require at least 3 years of hands-on OBIEE experience.
