OBIEE 10g upgrade to 11g
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Migrate an existing OBIEE 10g implementation to OBIEE 11g.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3+ years of experience in OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition) with at least 2 years working with 11g.
Expertise in development with OBIEE technology such as: Answers, Dashboards, Office Addin and BI Publisher
Experience with more than one upgrade from OBIEE 10g to 11g including the following
Using Oracles utility to upgrade the RPD and the Web Catalog automatically from version 10g to 11g.
Manual upgrading UI Components including Banner, Logo, Brand line and font that are driven by CSS and HTML files
Manually adding or modifying various Configuration Tags in InstanceConfig and NQSConfig files
Testing to ensure all objects are working the way they should after the upgrade.
Troubleshooting defects/anomalies that occur after the upgrade.
