Job Description
- Now Hiring BI (OBIEE) Architect for an opportunity in Detroit, Michigan.
- This is a Contract to Hire Opportunity.
- This is not a C2C opportunity and not open to Third party candidates.
- This position is responsible for developing and maintaining Data Warehouse reporting applications.
- Responsible to provide technical leadership for a team of data warehouse resources including business users, analysts, data architects, ETL programmers and report writers.
- As a BI Architect you will be responsible & Implementing vision and strategy for the tactical and strategic reporting environmentProvide architectural guidance, technology and process recommendations
- Mapping from transaction system tables to BI database layer, design the Business process model on the business layer and map to the presentation layerManage Star Schema Modeling & mapping of star schema to the source
- DatabaseCo-ordinate with departments & set up a reconciliation process for Data Warehouse data setMentor Business users on report designDesign and implement security standardsProvide thought leadership to evolving Business Intelligence (BI) activitiesWhat you can bring to the table:Minimum 6 years plus experience in designing and deploying web based OLAP solutions, gathering business requirements, developing technical specifications per requirements and designing the ETL process and reporting solutions to meet the business requirements, and data modeling and ETL designStrong working knowledge of BI tools & OBIEE requiredAbility to balance the strategic with tactical solutions as necessary, understanding the implications of individual decisions.
