Role: Senior (OBI Developer) Location: Houston,TX The Oracle Business Intelligence Report Architect and Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, maintenance and support of OBI reports in an Oracle eBS environment consisting of one or more of the following applications: Assets, Financials, Human Capital, Projects, and Supply Chain. Expertise in Oracle- BI Dashboards, BI Answers, BI Publisher, BI Server, BI Delivers, Oracle*Reports, and Discoverer reports, including performance tuning and query optimization Effective use of the following skillsets for OBIEE/OBIA: architect, designer, developer, and administrator Proficient at designing, developing, and configuring data warehouse (as well as real/near-time data) dashboards Enjoy the challenge of architecting BI reporting solutions to replace existing Discoverer reports Plan and execute software installations, upgrades, and configurations for OBIEE/OBIA and Discoverer Perform Weblogic administration and multi-server management Coordinate interactions with customers and business analysts to establish common business information requirements, design innovative solutions to satisfy those agreed to requirements, and execute specific technical solutions to achieve stated business goals Promote team creativity and cohesiveness to ensure technical designs fit into the over all data warehouse architecture and to facilitate fairness while striving for consensus in problem solving The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree (CS, MIS or CIS) or 5 years equivalent experience required. 3 years experience in an OBIEE/OBIA data warehouse environment required. Expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence 11g - BIDashboards, BI Answers, BI Server required. Expertise in RPD development Modeling the physical, business mapping and modeling, and presentation layers required. Experience in designing, developing, architecting, and administering OBIEE and OBIA required. Effectively work with end users to gather business requirements and translate them into technical design requirements required. Experience at designing and developing dashboards and reports including dashboard prompts required. Experience in performance tuning reports and query optimization required. Experience in data level and object level security required. Exposure/knowledge of MUDE required. Experience in OBIEE installations, upgrades, and configurations for OBIEE/OBIA required. Effectively work with multiple BI Developers and ETL Developers to accomplish tasks required. Experience in troubleshooting data issues in reports between data warehouse and source system required. Experience in providing user support for ad-hoc analysis required. Experience in data warehousing concepts required. Expertise in writing and understanding SQL required. Experience with Oracle Discoverer preferred. Experience with BI Publisher preferred. Experience with BI Delivers preferred Unix/Linux experience is preferred. Experience with Oracle EBS Applications is preferred.
