ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and support JDE Enterprise One applications and reports as well as perform routine updates and fixes across multiple functional JDE modules using the JDE developer toolset.
- Work closely with IT Business Analysts to design and develop new functionality and enhancements within the JDE Enterprise One platform.
- Define detailed technical design documents based on approved business requirements / functional designs.
- Lead development design and code reviews to ensure quality of all stated designs.
- Develop and unit test programs according to defined technical designs and stated business requirements.
- Lead development application reviews with the IT business analysts to insure all designs are built to support stated business requirements.
- Develop JDE application code in adherence to established programming standards.
- Perform unit and end-to-end testing on all developed applications to insure adherence to QA standards.
- Design, develop, and test the integration applications required to support third party non JDE applications within the enterprise.
- Collaborate with team members to provide JDE technical expertise to facilitate timely and accurate resolution of development requestsManage code deployment through the stated change control and version management process from the development environment through to the production environment.
- Minimum 5+ years experience working with the JDE Enterprise One development toolset in a development environment.
- Full competence in knowledge and use of JDE master business functions as a repository of integrated JDE functionality and business logic.
- Expertise with the JDE Enterprise One development toolset (RDA, FDA, OMW, DD, NER, C business functions, JDE cache, Web services, etc.)
- Minimum 5+ years C++ programming language Experience in multiple releases of JDE (XE through 9.X)
- Experience with the following JDE modules: Address Book, A/R, A/P, Sales Order, Purchasing, G/L, Inventory, and Fixed Assets.Expertise in debugging, analyzing and developing programs and reports for JDE Enterprise One.
- Experience with the development and maintenance of JDE custom applications.Experience with JDE Enterprise One CNC tools, a plus.
- Experience with JDE BI Publisher, a plusExperience with SQL DBA, a plus
- Experience in developing SQL queries and procedures.Experience working in project teams.
- Experience with Vertex, a plus.Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Result-focused, team oriented professional with a strong work ethic.
- Recognized as a JDE expert.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Microsoft Systems Engineer certification is not required, but would be an advantage.
- Oracle and/or JD Edwards certifications are not required, but would be an advantage.
- The candidate will interact with all levels of the IT organization, and in some cases with specific business users.
- Primary point of contact will be the IT Manager for Development Services and the IT Business Analysts.
