Client is actively looking for a Sr. JDE Developer/Analyst for a 6+ month contract assignment in the Marietta area.

Summary

• The Developer/Analyst, Senior focuses on providing new features and functionality to the IT business organization.
• The role requires gathering requirements, analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation of various business applications including JD Edwards Distribution & Financials,
• EDI and custom iSeries developed applications and interfaces to various processes and systems.
• Additionally, the Developer/Analyst, Senior takes a lead role in working with the business users, project managers, and others within theIT
• Organization to ensure all aspects of the tasks and/or projects are completed based on business and functional requirements
• This position requires the qualified candidate to be innovative and creative in solving complex problems, leading project teams and work in an environment where requirements may continually evolve, while still maintaining adherence to IT standards.
  

Responsible for work efforts to achieve the following:

• Analyze requirements, functional design, and architectural design documents to determine coding needed from generalized business and functional requirements
• Develops technical design document, including, flowcharts, diagrams, and/or write pseudo code to illustrate sequence of steps and describe logical operations
• Creating design and analysis documentation such as Master Technical Designs, Database Designs, User Interface Designs, Functional Designs and Technical Detail Designs.
• Provides alternate technical solutions to solve problems
• Develop/modify code that includes maintenance and bug fixes
• Develop unit test plans and conduct unit test as per test plans
• Participate and takes lead role in project team meetings and test plan walk throughs
• Provide estimates for completion of Developer Technical Design Documents
• Manages work and assists team members to meet specified due dates for tasks and projects and are on time and budget
• Designs, creates, and maintains unit test plans and runs tests to find errors and confirm program meets specifications.
• Track defects from code reviews and testing
• Proactive in providing status updates on tasks and projects to team members
• Experienced with SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Scrum, Iterative,

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and minimum of five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Seven years experience with high level of proficiency in advanced IBM iSeries design and development utilizing RPG, SQL, PDM, SDA, DB2
• Seven years\' experience with knowledge of Distribution, Financials, Sales, Forecasting and EDI.
• Five years\' experience with JD Edwards World Distribution and Financials packages.Five years experience in MS Office products (word, excel, ppt, visio, etc.)

• Working with multiple disparate external source systems
  
• Knowledge of Manhattan I/O productKnowledge and use of IBM RSE product
• Experience with Aldon CMS (Source control, Change Management process)
• Use of ServiceNow (Help Desk/Support), ITIL Certified
• Experience with Clarity (Project Management tool, Time reporting)
• Experience with Profound Logic (iSeries Web based development product)MBA, MS Computer Science degree
