Design, develop and manage the software environment that runs / monitors cloud computing environments Provide day-to-day operational support of compute grid and general-purpose interactive cloud computing environments Interact directly with engineers to understand requirements, deliver solutions and resolve issues Design and develop tools for system administration and business client needs, including automated sever build and configuration process, system virtualization, resource and network monitoring with detailed reporting Engineer and automate the cloud computing environment, particularly defining the strategy and then execute the integration of different large scale computing environments Design, build and implement Infrastructure-As-A-Service (IAAS) products and solutions: build services that automatically build and scale cloud resources based on application needs. Engage in capacity management for grid computing environment: architect solutions to drive up resource utilization across platforms manage data center optimization track the utilization of several data center capacity metrics, pinpoint and define bottlenecks, and highlight future capacity issues Desired Skills and Experience Hands-on experience with ESXi, Solaris, and RHEL Linux operating system installation and provisioning, including troubleshooting and resolving operational problems and automating large scale solutions Programming and development experience in Perl including experience with Perl data structures and references, modules and packages required Building web application tools, experience with PERL/PYTHON, JAVA, PHP, CGI, HTML, XML, MYSQL. enterprise datacenter technologies including servers, storage, networking, traffic management, datacenter design and operations; networking protocols and monitoring tools, including TCP/IP and LAN/WAN BachelorĂ¢??s or MasterĂ¢??s degree in Computer Science Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
