Systems Engineer - Window/Linux lOC: Austin,TX Minimum Qualifications: 5 years of windows Clustering Experience (DFS a plus) Network Load Balancing (F5 a Plus) Data Backup/ Restore Management Develop Documentation, Maintain and Update Policies, Provide Cross Training Bachelorâ??s Degree or Equivalent Experience. (MCSE a Plus) Desktop platforms, Exchange and print services Exposure to Linux, Python, Django, Postgresql, Cassandra, Graph, RabbitMQ, REST Experience with Git, SVN or other SCM tools Experience supporting Networking services including VLANs, VPNs Experience with orchestration tools like SaltStack, Ansible, Chef or Puppet Familiarity of AWS, Rackspace Cloud or other cloud service provders Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis Design skills with experience in Object Oriented Design (OOD), Design Patterns, Database Design, Data modeling required Domain Driven Design is a plus Testing Experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, TDD (Test Driven Development) is a plus Experience in Oil and Gas is BIG plus Experience with Agile Development methodology is a plus Ability to work independently as well as perform as part of a small, close knit development team required, Paired Programming desirable Experience monitoring for a software products company is preferred Experienced in test driven development (TDD) methodology when developing software tools that aid in monitoring
