- Bachelors Degree in EE/CS or similarAt least 5 years experience in a Software Development roleAt least 2 years experience with C Programming, Python Experience desirableAt least 3 years experience using LinuxStrong verbal and written communication skillsComfortable in an Agile software development modelAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to quickly learn new technologiesEssential Functions:C development and maintenance of applications on LinuxFamiliarity with Linux Kernel changesStrong Linux user with good understanding of:Shell scripting, crond, ssh/ftp, command line toolsNetwork performance tools: iPerf, tcpdump, iostat, etc.
- Integration and Testing of softwareEmbedded software experienceOptional/Desirable:Understanding of Networking (CCNA) concepts: TCP/IP, Firewalls, Vlan, Multicast, Cisco IOSUnderstanding of electrical concepts a plus
