Minimum Requirements
- The following are required to perform the essential functions of the job:Education/Experience Bachelor\'s degree in IT/IS, MIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred Previous experience managing multiple mission critical Linux systems
- Experience administering CentOS and/or Ubuntu systems Experience with VMware or similar virtualization technologies Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper network gear a plus
- Experience with shell scripting in two or more of the following languages: Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP Experience with SAN infrastructure technologies and nomenclature a plus Proven knowledge of Linux systems including configuration, package management, and basic scriptingIn-depth knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, LDAP
- Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills Understanding of / Experience with DevOps a plus Understanding of SIP based telephony and/or Asterisk a plus Willingness to research, learn and adapt, attend trainings
- Understanding and working knowledge of SDLC and its application in a systems administration role Skills/Knowledge Proven knowledge of Linux systems including configuration, package management, and basic scriptingIn-depth knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, LDAP
