Workday Financials Certification or experience at a Workday Financials Customer strongly preferred. Without Workday Financials experience, experience with another ERP (Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics etc) required and experience with object oriented data structure as a compliment is extremely beneficial. Additionally Bachelors degree is required and majors of Economics, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, and Accounting are preferred. Other majors are considered if complemented with applicable Graduate degrees or work experience. Working knowledge of financial processes (Accounts Payable, Revenue Recognition, Period End Closing, Banking and Settlement, etc).. People manager experience strongly preferred. Experience in Global company and multi currency transactions preferred. Realizes that being strategic and tactical are not mutually exclusive. Balances the need for controls and efficiencies to bring greatest value to client. Ability to lead projects to success yet be a team player when not the Project Manager. Critical thinking skills are crucial to the success of a Financial applications ecosystem and are essential in this position.
