Role: Sr. MySQL DBA Location: Belmont , CA Analyze current structure and make appropriate changes as defined by our SQL standards. Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers and developers to design and define. Convert data from existing MySQL to a new instance of MySQL. Produce SQL scripts for both one time and recurring conversion. Produce shell scripts to process the recurring data conversion as needed Solid demonstrated SQL language skills for DDL and DML. Strong SQL tuning experience. Experience with MySQL replication. Experience with shell scripting. Understanding of basic software development methodologies and coding standards. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence others.
