Role: Sharepoint Administrator
Location: Covington, GA
Major Duties/Responsibilities
Serves as subject matter expert for the application and provides end user and troubleshooting support for the SharePoint environment
Independently schedules meetings with department heads within the Company to influence adoption of SharePoint\'s features to support their department
Works directly with content managers to address questions, capabilities and format content for the Company Intranet (SharePoint)
Manages and assigns SharePoint user permissions based on roles and privileges
Analyzes and reports SharePoint usage and activity to Chief Information Officer
Regularly reviews content to ensure content owners are refreshing content
Monitors SharePoint usage trends and reports findings to Chief Information Officer
Establishes alerts for monitoring new content being added
Acts as moderator on any user forms created in SharePoint
Identifies and reports governance violations to VP, Information Security
Works with business units to integrate SharePoint with other tools
Manages Company risk relative to position
Basic Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent education and related training
+ years\' experience in a help desk/service desk environment
Experience supporting SharePoint in a cloud environment, preferably Office365
Previous experience/proficiency using SharePoint
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and organize
Good interpersonal skills
Above average attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree
- 5 years\' experience supporting SharePoint in a cloud environment, preferably Office365
Relevant certification(s), such as MTA, MCSD, MCSA and/or MCSE
Working knowledge of basic corporate networks and practices
