Job Title:Ã?????? Oracle EBS Applications DBA

Location: Rochester, New York

Work directly with the Oracle EBS development team, operational support team, and other database administrators to accommodate needed functional or technical requirements associated with the Oracle EBS environment.Ã?????? Ã?????? The list of specific tasks includes:

• Manage Oracle EBS, ASCP, and technology stack patching in multiple environments
• Configure non-production and production boot scripts, monitor and resolve non-production and production database alerts
• Configure EBS, ASCP, and SOA databases and applications servers into Oracle Grid Control
• Develop, maintain, and monitor production Autosys jobs for backup, operations, and Disaster Recovery.
• Maintain and manage disaster recovery application servers for EBS and ASCP
• Maintain and manage the Data Guard disaster recovery database server and processes for EBS, ASCP, and SOA databases
• Develop and maintain proactive scripts to monitor EBS operations Ã??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢?? concurrent manager, receiving transaction manager, ASCP locking, long running jobs, etc.Ã??????
• Participate with other team members in scheduled 24x7 on-call support for the EBS, SOA, and ASCP databases, EBS and ASCP application/web servers, MWA, and concurrent managers. Ã??????
• Provide support for server outages required for operating system, hardware, or storage maintenance.Ã?????? Ã?????? Verify and validate that all services are available and functioning after maintenance is complete.
• Work with UNIX operations to configure and maintain Veritas Cluster Services for all EBS database and application clusters
• Perform clones from production to non-production environments
• Develop and maintain post-clone scripts, maintain outgoing database links, perform Instance planning
• Open and manage the life cycle of Oracle support Service Requests for EBS issues.
• Work with development team to configure and maintain workflow notification mailer, WSDLÃ??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢??s and WSDL security.Ã??????
• Develop, maintain, and manage security processes and procedures including but not limited to password changes, Oracle role maintenance, OLS, application server file system permissions, and Oracle password controls.
• Monitor database and application server storage utilization and develop capacity plans
• Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in a technical field with a minimum of 10 years experience in an Oracle Applications DBA role (including R12)
• Minimum 3 years Patching, cloning, and troubleshooting experience in Oracle Applications R12 (12.1.3)
• Minimum 3 years performance tuning experience in Oracle Applications R12.1Ã??????
• Minimum 3 years Ã?????? Data Guard experience with Oracle Applications R12.
• Minimum 2 years experience with Oracle RDBMS 11.2Ã??????
• Minimum 2 years experience configuring shared application file system, Load Balancer for E-Business suite.
