  • Source to Pay (S2P) - be knowledgeable of their processes and Oracle, correct data, data readiness, what they need to do before an Oracle implementation
  • They will train the trainer
  • Knowledge - Oracle Cloud experience is a plus
  • Have many people who can perform an ERP Implementation; however they don\'t know how to "work" in Oracle.
  • Find a person who can bridge between an implementation and knowing how to actually use the Oracle application to train others.
  • Able to show people how to implement and work with end users (buyers etc.)
  • Looking to hire 3 people

The Source to Pay (S2P) Subject Matter Expert (SME) is part of the Source to Pay team. Reporting to the Director, Operational Performance Excellence, this key position will be relied upon as the principal subject matter expert for the Oracle Cloud module and functional leader on the S2P value stream. The function of the S2P SME is to elicit, analyze, specify, validate, and document the stated and implicit needs of the business as it relates to the company??s sourcing and supply chain goals. This candidate will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the project team to define business and system processes through workflows and written requirements to support the migration from legacy systems to Oracle ERP Cloud. This will include developing current and future state data and process maps, identifying technology gaps, and creating remediation plans with the new systems.

Deliverables & Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders to learn business processes and gather business requirements related to procurement and supply chain process from sourcing to payment.
  • Establishes self as a trusted adviser and thought leader to the business teams.
  • Break down technical complexities so that they can be easily understood by business units and project stakeholders within the sales teams and other related business streams.
  • Assist business stakeholders with testing of system changes and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to synthesize high-level concepts surrounding new work requests into a set of business requirements.
  • Collaborates with Oracle Consultants and IT Business Analysts to configure the Oracle Cloud product to support initial implementation and subsequent process optimization efforts.
  • Understand integration points with other systems that interface with the application, evaluate and minimize ripple effects.
  • Provide support to end-users and other subject matter experts, including managing issue resolution and performing root cause analysis as needed.
  • Create training materials and perform training of procurement teams and other related business streams.

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

  • Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience in business management, materials, logistics, or related fields preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in ERP implementations, Oracle preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement and supply chain discipline with a manufacturing company preferred.
  • Experience in development of training materials and training instruction
  • Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence to adapt to different learning styles and needs and facilitate change management with colleagues.
  • Ability to work within a global matrix organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Must be highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Must be able to solve problems at both a strategic and tactical level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to work effectively within and across function teams is required.
  • Strong ability to facilitate, lead, and present meetings and discussions.
  • Ability to solve practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited resources may exist is required.
