SUMMARY: The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth analysis, design/ implementation of application systems to support business requirements. He/she enhances existing processes of SAP Order to Cash and its integration to other functional areas that typically have a global scope. System integration includes non-SAP applications such as SFDC, Esker and other third party software applications. RESPONSIBILTIES: 45% Business process analysis He /She work with his/her Manager, other Business Systems Analysts, and Business Resources in the analysis and decomposition of business processes. This includes requirements gathering, planning, design, prototype, execution and support of the enhancement of the application system to support business requirements. 15% Unit and integration testing He /She is responsible for executing unit and integration testing of the business systems software. This includes performing the test, making changes in configuration based on test results. He or she is responsible for ensuring that integration points with other functional areas are validated. These integration points may include SAP BW/BI , WM and Distribution, MM, PP, HR, FI, CO, EDI and other 3rd party software. 15% Business systems software configuration He or she is responsible for assisting the Business Process Owner in the design of the business system. He or she is responsible for the overall configuration of the business systems software. He /She will lead the design of reports, forms, interfaces, custom programs and conversions. 10% Training and documentation He /She is responsible for developing training materials and providing training to end users. He /She assists in the identification of business processes and system tasks to be documented. In addition, the associate takes a leadership role in providing training to less experienced colleagues on various business process analysis activities, testing and integration, and system configuration. 15% Project management He /She is responsible for providing the leadership for projects assigned. This responsibility may include process design enhancements and development of reports, forms, interfaces and conversions related to complex projects with a global scope. In addition, he/she may evaluate non-SAP applications being considered at the company. The associate must ensure that the project timelines, scope and budget guidelines are met. Desired Skills and Experience Academic/Credentials/Certifications: BS/BA in a business related discipline. MBA Desirable. SAP Certifications / Training Length of experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of business experience A minimum of 7 years working with SAP R/3, B2B, B2C at a technical design, development and configuration level. Specialized skills/technical knowledge: Working knowledge of SAP R3, B2B, B2C,CRM and BI concepts Excellent skills in writing accurate functional specifications A proven resource in defining systems improvement, developing systems requirements, and implementing practical business solutions that generates cost savings and increased productivity. Experienced in evaluating and implementing new and existing software and upgrades. Knowledge of best practices built into the SAP and Internet sales software. Strong familiarity with SAP ASAP implementation methodology. Strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask within a fast paced and dynamic workplace. Ability to develop strong working relationships with end-users and technical teams. Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills.
