One of our premier Chicago clients are looking for an experienced SalesForce Developer! This is a 6 month contract position.
As a SalesForce Developer, your responsibilities include:
Implementing, managing, administrating and supporting the Marketing and Sales platforms. This includes troubleshooting system issues, participating in system upgrades, developing solutions, documenting processes, and providing technical support for users.
Developing solutions for common challenges such as data mapping, object modeling, page layout design, and workflow rules within the context of the SalesForce platform and marketing solution.
Establishing, monitoring and maintaining interface with 3rd party applications
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge and staying current with new features, best practices and how they impact the Companys platform
Primary point of contact for issue resolution as it relates to Production level issues.
Change management and release process of SalesForce and Marketing Solution.
Data management which includes data structure, governance.
Advising on proposed solutions to meet business requirements and train super users on the application.
Job Requirements
Salesforce Developer certifications are a plus
Experience with Java Script, C++, C#, JQuery, Web Services, VisualForce, Apex controllers, triggers & batch jobs is a plus
Experience using development tools such as Force.com IDE, Eclipse, Visual Studio, and the SalesForce Developer Console
Experience with unit testing, deploying change sets from SalesForce sandbox environments.
Familiar with common software development practices and methodologies
Experience in promoting code from sandboxes to production environment, address related to functionality, integration etc.
Microsoft Applications – Significant knowledge of Excel required, with experience using data tables, pivot tables, and formulas.
Knowledge of Access a plus.
Experience working with databases
Experience with direct marketing, e-mail marketing and database marketing a plus.
