Job Title : DESKTOP MIGRATION LEAD

Location : Richmond, VA

Duration : 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

Candidate will be responsible for managing the enterprisemigration from Windows 7 to Windows 10, SCC application testing to ensurecompatibility with Windows 10, the implementation plan, and development of thepost-rollout support plan.

Successful Candidate will work from the SCC ProjectManagement Office on a cross-functional team responsible for theenterprise-wide migration effort from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

Project Manager will work closely with a wide range of SCCDivisions' representatives (from directors to individual contributors) to guidethem through Windows 10 preparation and execution activities.

The Project Manager must be proficient at managing migrationtasks in a structured PMO environment, following industry-standard practices.As the Windows 10 Project Manager, the ideal candidate will bring provenleadership experience and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative andfast-paced work environment.

Required Skills:

Proven project management experience

Experience in managing or working in desktop management

Project management experience in a large Windows migrationinitiative

Active Project Management Institute PMP certification

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Project

Ability to balance priorities and work well in a teamenvironment

Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational andtime management

Superior verbal and written communication skills

Legally eligible to be hired as a State employee
