Scope Of Position/Qualifications Responsible to lead and manage the New Product Introduction and Reliability teams in support of a fast growing product portfolio. This position works closely with Design, Advanced Manufacturing, Field Application Engineer and Customers to identify, design, and implement reliability and application testing. This includes test equipment, data collection methods, and simulation software for optimum reliability test efficiency. This position requires experience in a variety of HALT/HASS test methods and test method development including embedded software validation, strong skills in attention to details, influencing and ability to quickly make decisions in an ever changing dynamic environment, are also required. Specific Duties/Essential Functions Lead the Operations New Product Development team ensuring all Operations related NPI tasks are completed to allow for on time new product introductions. Lead the Reliability team ensuring all NPI reliability testing is complete to confirm NPI designs will meet all customer application requirements. Lead the development of reliability test methods and requirements in support of new product innovations and customer applications. Identify HALT/HASS, data collection, software simulation, and associated test equipment required to perform all reliability testing. Develop and implement equipment required to support LED light engine reliability testing. (IP/UL water and dust intrusion, lumen depreciation, color stability, etc.) Monitor product warranty to identify all unsatisfactory results and implement appropriate enhancements in reliability testing to prevent a recurrence. Budget and submit capital requests in support of NPI and reliability to meet operational objectives and goals. Knows, follows and respects the Health, Safety and Environment Policies of the Company
