Position Responsibilities

1. Manages and maintains key operational metrics and trends, particularly in the area of service quality (accuracy, timeliness and responsiveness).

2. Resolve issues/problems with Commercial Card Settlement and Check Settlement

3. Ensure that SLA are met consistently.

4. Maintain efficient cross-training and coverage by ensuring every function has no less than three people who can effectively perform the function

5. Improve productivity and implement process improvements

6. Meet with clients to ensure services continue to meet their business needs and work to improve these as necessary.

7. Participate in Check and Commercial Card projects and initiatives.

8. Lead Kaizen events

9. Meet financial plan

10. Contribute cost savings ideas in an effort to identify expense reductions

11. Assist Controller department in proper unit costing.

12. Ensure appropriate staffing levels by modeling capacity requirements through the use of Cognos

13. Fairly and consistently implement HR policies and procedures for all team members.

14. Provide consistent messaging (both verbal and written) to employees regarding their performance throughout the year, in the annual PMP process and in their Compensation treatment.

15. Hold career and individual development plan discussions with all direct reports on an annual basis.

16. Ensure control elements are performed regularly

17. Ensure compliance with regulations.

18. Maximizes the human resource potential within the scope of the operational unit to ensure diversity awareness.

19. Management and development of personnel to ensure trained, capable personnel are provided to perform duties within Settlement Operations.
