We are looking for a Sr Developer to join a team that develops a highly visible e-commerce web platform.
This website integrates with many other platforms, so webservices development is crucial for this role.

Qualifications:

Illustrative responsibilities include: Responsible for supporting and leading project tasks
Identifies key drivers of a defined problem and proposes solutions
Identifies and solves problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
Performs analysis and effective diagnosis of clients issues
Selects the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements
Develops and shares reusable assets that can be readily applied to new client projects
Utilizes Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
Translates business requirements into technical requirements and communicates well with technical resources
Understands the benefits of using state of the art methods and tools and their application on a particular engagement; contributes to continuous development of methods and tools
Develops solutions to client problems through application of personal experience and methods and tools; validates solutions to subject matter experts
Takes a leadership role in mentoring and cross-training the members of the BI and IT team members in the Cognos product
Design/configuration of Cognos Framework
Design/Create Cognos Reports
Manage Cognos Connection Security
Participate in the evaluation of new projects to determine scope, feasibility, timelines, impacts to and integrations with existing systems.Job Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT discipline
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skill
Experience in MS SQL, Cognos Report Studio, Cognos Workspace, Cognos Performance Modeler, Cognos Framework Manager with working knowledge of TM1 and/or Cognos Dynamic Cubes
Ability to handle multiple clients and multiple team members with confidence
Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving Model data and metadata to support ad-hoc and pre-built reporting. Hands-on programming experience IBM Certified Solutions Expert certification preferred, but not required
5+ years of relevant experience in a business intelligence role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology, or experience in analytics.
Experience with Financial/Accounting reporting concepts
Experience with Project Development Life-Cycle & Methodologies
Experience with Process & Procedures ( Best Practices, Creating Standards, etc)
