Role Description

• The candidate is responsible for designing and developing web and command-line tools using Open Source software that are instrumental in automating processes that streamline the Analytics delivery and output mechanisms.
• Additional responsibilities include interfacing with business and end users for understanding requirements and user experience as needed.
  
• Responsibilities Write clean, well-designed code
  
• Produce detailed specifications in conjunction with business analysts
  
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
  
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  
• Deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools as necessary
  
• Interface with end users to understand user experience and feedback
  

Professional Experience

• US Healthcare domain experience is preferred
  
• Technical Knowledge and Skills Experience working in the following open source programming languages (At least two) ?? PHP, Python, Java, Ruby, Perl, ASP.net MVC
  
• Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc
  
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
  
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Mongo dB MySQL etc
  
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)
  

Project Specific Skills

• Solid background in open source projects
  
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
  

Soft Skill Required

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively with strong analytical and problem solving skills demonstrated by previous work experiences.
  
• Strong written and oral communication skills are needed to present findings and make recommendations
