Post-Sales Application Engineering:

An Informatics Application Engineer is responsible for reportingaccurate information on time spent reflecting the work performed remotely or onsite. Maintaining Technical documentation and reporting travel expensesroutinely. Takes a proactive approach to maintaining skills appropriate for therole completing all internal and external training programs in a timely manner.

In addition to the main tasks, the Informatics ApplicationEngineer will interface with Agilent Product Support and R&D teams as thevoice of the customer on product quality or future software products. TheApplication Engineer will actively look for Sales opportunities wheninterfacing with our customers.

An Agilent Informatics Application Engineer is considered theexpert in this field.

 

Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalentin Biology, Chemistry and/or Information Technology

4 years relevant experience preferably in a Laboratory environment utilizingChromatography Data Systems and network servers. Database Administrationexperience a plus.
