Job Description

  • We have a new Lead Application Analyst who will be part of our IT Supply Chain and Sourcing Systems team.
  • Our Lead Application Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders in Supply Chain and Sourcing organizations to understand business needs and help develop standard processes to enable effective and efficient system solutions.
Responsibilities

  • Include design, development, delivery and adoption of new solutions and support of existing solutions.
  • This role is also expected to run small to medium projects and perform end-to-end project management activities.
  • Relevant SAP functional experience in Forecast to deploy, Plan to produce and Procure to pay is required.
  • Technical skills, candidate is expected to have project management and excellent communication skills as well.
Requirements:

  • Works with business leaders and acts as a liaison between Information Technology (IT) and business leadership.
  • Collects, analyzes, reviews, documents and communicates business needs and requirements.
  • Ensures that design and integration of custom solutions with IT leads to development and growth of business through effective use of technology. Integrally involved in â buy vs. build decision-making.
  • Is proactive in understanding business processes, key drivers and measures of success for the business while keeping both short and long-term direction of the business and technology in mind.
  • Identifies, proposes and influences business solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple business customers or organizations.
  • Develops and improves business processes at all times, assisting with the development of metrics, both within the technology and business organizations.
  • Manages and balances the needs of diverse customers and the IT organization.
  • Works with minimal supervision.
  • Has ability to adapt and work through changing priorities based on business needs.
  • Demonstrates ability to understand and explain industry standard solutions SAP provides and how they can solve business needs out of the box.
  • Technical knowledge in ABAP development, understanding of available user exists/BAD's/enhancement points to slightly alter standard functionality to fit business needs is a big plus.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related IT experience. Deep knowledge in SAP standard functionality in Forecasting, Planning, Scheduling and Purchasing is required.
  • Experience with SAP PP, MM configuration is required.
  • Experience in IBP and S/4 is a bonus.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies to align with business priorities, break down work into Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and iterate quickly on product changes Thorough understanding of structured analysis, design, programming techniques, and change management
  • Expert skills in analyzing business problems, objectives/requirements and translating them into an application solution.
  • Works effectively on project teams as a leader or as a participant.
  • Proven track record of successful, large-scale website implementation projects from a leadership and development perspective.
  • Readily picks up and applies new business concepts, new application systems, and new technology, to all job activities and specific project assignments.
  • Communicates effectively, both oral and written, with internal customers, other Information Technology Associates, 3rd party vendors, and IT senior leadership.
  • Prepares and delivers effective and well-organized presentations.
  • Worked in a global organization with IT and business teams in different regions of the world.
