Job Description

This position will provide technical support to strategic customers and channel partners and will also encompass lab related work and support for the worldwide FAE team interfacing with the Product Development team. This interaction will serve as a learning path for the use of products, demonstration boards, reference designs, and the development of application notes and tools, as it pertains to direct customer support and distribution training. This position is on-site, only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 10 plus years experience in Applications Engineering
• Excellent Analog design skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Good managerial and organization skills

Responsibilities:

• This position will provide technical support to strategic customers and channel partners and will also encompass lab related work and support for the worldwide FAE team interfacing with the Product Development team
• This interaction will serve as a learning path for the use of products, demonstration boards, reference designs, and the development of application notes and tools, as it pertains to direct customer support and distribution training
• Liaise between Applications Team, FAEs, and Quality to support strategic customers globally
• Work with Applications and Product Management teams to define new products in support of the Industrial BU
• Daily support of the Technical Support Call Center and incoming email to assist customers on products and product use questions and issues
• Work independently and with other members of the Marketing team on white papers, case studies and training material for the Distributors
• Work with the Marketing team on developing specific Broad Market/Industrial segments that align with our Advanced products and NPI
• Assisting in a scheduled product training and technical seminars for Distributors
• Assisting in the designing, simulating, prototyping, testing, and optimizing external custom circuitry used in conjunction with our products
• Evaluating products in support of customer design activity
• Troubleshooting and optimizing customer systems, which use our Power Components
