Job Description:
  • The Sr. Analyst-OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) Business Transformation provides IT support to the Logistics organization ensuring their applications needs are being met in an effective and efficient manner.
  • This individual will identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions focusing on business analysis and project management of application enhancements and new application implementations.
  • This is a non-supervisory, individual contributor role.Organizational RelationshipThis position reports directly to the Sr. Manager-Business Transformation-Supply ChainAccountabilitiesWork with Logistics as a liaison and representative of the IT department to provide IT solutions including: eliciting ideas,
  • analyzing processes and systems logic, providing guidance, managing projects and validating requirements for changes to business processes,
  • policies, and information systems (OTM).Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the IT requirements and recommend solutions that enable Logistics to achieve its goals.
  • Lead OTM implementation of new application implementations/upgrades and application enhancements.
  • Effectively document and translate business requirements into IT requirements.
  • Manage assigned projects, prioritize projects and maintenance tickets.
  • Report status of ongoing prioritized projects to Logistics and IT leadership.
  • Identify and resolve ongoing day-to-day business issues pertaining to IT support.
  • Provide on-going support on Ã??Ã?¢??break-fixÃ??Ã?¢?Ã??Ã? issues for existing applications.Improve business processes, analyze data, map processes and implement improvements enabled by technology.
  • Ability to travel as needed, expected to be less than 25% of the time.Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education:
  • BachelorÃ??Ã?¢??s level degree or similar technical degree in information systems required.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience required.
  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS strongly preferred.
  • OTM Expert, both Functionally and technically (Setup * configuration, shipment management, rates, master data, bulk planning parameters, user configuration, screen set development, SQL queries, and working with CSV & XML files).Experience with application design and development from business requirements analysis through implementation in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) including but not limited to workflow Automation Agents,
  • Out XML Profiles, Integration xml templates for Release, TransOrder, PlannedShipment, TenderOffer, TenderResponse as well as ShipmentStatus.
  • Hands on experience with triage of day to day OTM systems issues and providing resolution on complex issues.Experience in OTM Network Routing, PC Miler and SMC Rateware preferred.Experience with manufacturing and distribution environments preferred.
  • Project management experience, specifically knowledge of methodologies like PMBOK, IPECC or Six Sigma is preferred.Knowledge of Logistics management principles and processes.
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
