Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical and systems design expertise in the development of new and maintenance of existing databases and data warehousing facilities.
  
• Manage data and data warehouse accuracy, quality and integrity.
  
• Design and build ETL workflows resulting in either a systems integration and / or business intelligence source table from multiple data sources.
  
• Provide detailed analysis, design, tuning, testing, implementation and documentation of the data warehouse and/or business intelligence systems.
  
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions leveraging existing systems and automation.
  
• Develop and define business reporting dashboards and requirements.
  
• Responsible for data warehouse / business intelligence quality testing, stakeholder approval and user acceptance testing.
  
• Develop and maintain technical specification documentation for all reports and processes.
  
• Conduct periodic analysis of infrastructure and application performance and contributes to the strategic technology plan.
  
• Provide support for and implement data driven technologies and platforms such as workflow and CRM tools.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-6 years experience with data warehouse or business intelligence technologies and concepts.
  
• Experience analyzing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets with the ability to pull together compelling narratives.
  
• Experience creating and defining data architectures and metadata definitions.
  
• Fluent in SQL and relational database, familiarity with Big Data technologies is a plus.
  
• Experience with Salesforce and software development lifecycles is preferred.
  
• Experienced in report analysis and development using business intelligence tools a plus.
  
• Outstanding grasp of technology concepts and processes.
  
• Experience in private equity, venture, or trading environments a plus.
