Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work with functional users to coordinate the User Interface design, model development and population of needed rules and data into the configurator models.
- As part of an Oracle team, support the ongoing Oracle configuration development.
- Define configuration rules to support product modeling across products.
- Oracle Configurator design and development experience.
- Knowledge of Oracle data base fundamentals and Configurator schemaOracle Configurator Models, which consist of Components, Features, and OptionsBasic understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite Configurator functionality/processes (Items, BOM, Model Structure, Rules, CDL, PBC, Publication, Import, Logic, Numeric, Totals, Resources BOM Synchronization).
- Oracle Applications BOM, which consist of Models, Option Classes, and Standard ItemsPrefer some experience with Java J2SE or Object oriented programming.
- Some knowledge of Oracle APIs.
- Ability to train and provide support to Oracle application system users - specifically related to Configurator functionality.
- Ability to perform system troubleshooting of Oracle Configurator application problems.
- Strong programming and logical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.Ability to work well independently as well as a team environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks and set priorities with limited supervision
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a College or University in a Computer Science, Management/Computer Information Systems, Business, or Engineering related program; and/or 2-4 years related experience
