OBIEE Developer / Business Analyst Location: Oxnard, CA

Role: OBIEE Developer / Business Analyst
Location: Oxnard, CA
  • Responsibilities Include Investigate, analyze, document, and review business process and user requirements and objectives aimed at improving various aspects of business operations Develop design specification, business processes, and user interface mock-ups to support understanding of requirements
  • Create and implement sustainable BI reporting solution to improve scalability necessary for continued rapid growth
  • Experience in OBIEE 11G development and User administrative activities
  • Creating and presenting quality dashboards; generating routine and ad hoc reports
  • Develop complex master detail Analytical reports
  • Develop drill through and drill down reports Identifying new data points to improve business operations and overall business intelligence
  • Data validation and report management and enhancements Provide day-to-day technical support and security access for all users Perform the necessary Patch upgrades Identify and evaluate business process improvement opportunities
  • Train and support end users Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer science or an equivalent
  • 5+ years of strong focus on OBIEE Reporting solutions and Data Warehousing Must have 3+ years of OBIEE 11G Report development (including RDP Development)
  • Must have 2+ years year of experience working with Oracle BI tools and applications (OBIEE/OBIA)
  • Must have mastery of creating of XML data templates in BI Publisher Must know how to create report layout templates in BI Publisher
  • Must have an understanding of repository objects designed for OLAP data models, hierarchies Strong Knowledge Creating Complex Data Model Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL optimization skills and OLAP tools
  • Must have an understanding of creating maps/interactive dashboard catalog objects
  • Good understanding of the Oracle BI Applications (especially in ERP modules Finance, HR, Projects, P2P).
  • Prior Oracle EBS ERP experience or good understanding of EBS transactional data model is a plus.
  • Experience with agile and waterfall SDLC Knowledge of OBIEE components, RDBMS, Web logic Application Server and Oracle Data Integrator is a plus Knowledge of ETL process a plus
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Proficient using standard office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook Fluency in English required, knowledge of Spanish would be useful
