Budget $: 100,000 - 200,000

3-5+ years of software engineering experience, with start-up experience
CS degrees (from top 20 school preferred)
side projects /coding experiments
Ruby on Rails experience
Front-end JavaScript framework (Angular JS preferred)

Transform mocks, designs, and wire frames into crisp and scalable product features Contribute ideas to new and existing product features Set-up and monitor A/B tests to determine best variations of features Overcome the challenges associated competing priorities: beautiful aesthetic, UX, page performance and SEO Deploy new features daily and iterate on improvements Give and receive constructive code reviews ABOUT YOU:Experience with a large JavaScript, CSS, and Ruby on Rails code base Experience with a server-side MVC framework (we use Ruby on Rails)Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (we use Angular JS)Experience with CSS preprocessors (we use SCSS as part of RoR\'s Asset Pipeline)Strong fundamentals: OOP and application architecture Appreciation for software craftsmanship, quality, maintainability and performance Attention to detail and personal pride in your work
EXTRA CREDIT:

Experience with Full-stack development Experience building APIs for web and mobile Experience with scaling for exponential user growth
Experience developing online market places
