Build industry-leading user experiences. Develop creative assets for assigned projects, including, but not limited to, app and web UI elements, wireframes, high-and-low fidelity mock-ups, icon creation. Design support and branding materials such as logos, digital adds, posters, banners, brochures, reports, press releases, flyers, invitations, etc. Ensure consistent application of MQ and MQ-stakeholder logos and brand policies and guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure strategic direction is captured in the design and layout. On occasion, interface with clients. Ability to self-manage projects with attention to deadlines and shifting priorities. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience Post-Secondary Education in Graphic Design, Computer Science, User Experience, Marketing, Business Communications, or related field; individuals with proven work experience with a refined portfolio will also be considered. 3+ years experience in web development, digital media production and design. Technical Skills Strong design and layout skills Experience working in and with variety of CMS/CMF frameworks, primarily PHP based. Must be comfortable working with SAS/LESS and other precompilers. Experience with IDE\'s and Source control tools (SVN/GIT preferred. Experience in large scale Single and Multi page web applications is also preferred. Working knowledge of terminal and browser dev tools is a must for debugging and prototyping. On top of HTML5, JS, CSS/LESS/SASS, understanding of other prominent web technologies such as Twig and Angular. Adobe Production Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.) Conceptual understand of methods in Visual Communication and Marketing Team-oriented as well as pro-active self-starter Copywriting (Excellent written and verbal communication skills) Experience in designing for mobile interfaces HTML & CSS Experience
