Role: Sr. Data Warehouse Developer Location: Appleton,WI Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze business needs, make recommendation, estimate, and design new data warehouse solutions Develop, deploy, conduct QA testing, debug/refactor, and document DW technology solutions Work with Microsoft Data Warehouse Toolset including SSIS, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and TFS Work with and help develop the Data warehouse/SQL Development Lifecycle and standards Support, maintain, and administer deployed solutions Ensure security of all data and technology solutions Provide support and guidance to the application development team on database development and warehousing Based on level of experience perform SQL Server administration tasks assume a role of technical project lead and provide mentoring when applicable Conduct research into current and emerging technologies and issues in support of development efforts Carry out other IT related duties which may be assigned from time to time. Experience with SQL Server 2008R2/2012 and the Microsoft BI Stack Experience with relational and data warehouse database design and SQL development, preferably in Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2/2012 Experience working in an Agile environment (SCRUM) Preferred Requirements: Proficient with SSIS or other ETL tools Proficient with SQL Server and TSQL Interest or experience in SQL Server 2008R2/2012 administration Experience or familiarity with SQL Server 2014 Familiarity with SSAS and SSRS Understanding of Object Oriented development Experience or familiarity with C# and .NET a plus Experience with SharePoint 2010 Good documentation skills Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organization and follow-up skills Self-motivated and directed Proof of US citizenship or permanent work authorization Aviation related experience a plus 3.0 GPA Extracurricular/leadership activities
