utilize the JDE systems (e.g., better accuracy, faster speed, repeatability) Evaluate requests for new or modified computer programs or routines; determine feasibility, cost, resources and time required for upgrades, and; advise on available alternatives and design options Work with technical teams to design and configure applications to support business requirements Prepares documentation to support process, functional and technical specifications Perform technical support tasks as required and serve as primary backup to JDE Systems Administrator Strictly follow SOX guidelines and processes, Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Business, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or Related Disciplines or equivalent work experience Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in similar position Experience with JD Edwards ERP software Experience working with Oracle support to identify and resolve issues and work with 3rd party support teams that provide CNC and Database maintenance activities Must have demonstrated understanding and skills of advanced JD Edwards modules and concepts, with particular focus on Sales Order Management, Transportation, Distribution and Inventory
