Title: Senior Data warehouse Engineer - Contractor
Location: San Mateo, CA
We are looking for a temporary (3-6 month contract) Senior Data warehouse engineer to build out our data warehouse infrastructure.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop the database schema – star schema and compatibility with our Business Intelligence tool
Design and develop processes to extract, transform and load data
Create job and data monitoring and proactively resolve data issues
Performance tuning of reporting/analytical queries
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Required skills
5+ years of experience in Data warehousing/Business Intelligence modeling and development
Expertise in SQL development
Extensive experience working with Business Intelligence tools like Looker, Tableau, Microstrategy, etc.
Ability to translate business requirements to technical design
Expertise in creating dashboards and reports
Exceptional communication skills
Desired skills
Amazon Redshift experience
Looker experience
Marketing and Consumer facing business experience
