Role:SAP FUNCTIONAL ANALYST
Location:Boston, MA

This person will have to key areas of responsibility:
1) develop efficient, well structured, well documented technical solutions for SAP HCM
2) work with departments to evaluate, implement and support a Q/A strategy. For the first key area, this person is responsible for hands on functional configuration in SAP HCM, with a primary focus on Organizational Management and Personnel Administration. Provide SAP HCM support performing required system configuration, various testing activities (regression and project related), along with following the established change management process.
  • A successful candidate must be able to analyze and document business flow from end to end and work with a team of clients, developers, solution engineers, to devise a technical solution to support the documented business goal.
  • For the second key area, this person is responsible for working with a consultant to devise a Q/A strategy that they will then work with the department to implement.
  • Person is responsible for ensuring key Q/A information is documented in either existing or new templates and would work with team members to ensure Q/A is incorporated into work as appropriate.

Skills and Experience required:
  • Must have at least 3-7 years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance methodologies, including tools such as HP-ALM.
  • Must have ability to perform configuration for HCM modules of OM and PA A self-starter and have the ability to deliver and be adaptable in understanding functional and technical requirements.
  • Participate in user functional and technical specification creation.
  • Ability to analyze user needs and architect complete solutions.
  • Ability to listen, understand and facilitate process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relational skills required.
  • Must have a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Must be able to work independently with little direction/supervision.
  • Must be adaptable and capable of absorbing new concepts and situations rapidly.
  • Must be a strong team player. Highly Desirable Skills Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 Experience with Payroll/Time Management a plus
