Responsibilities

â?¢

This position is responsible for assisting and managing production orders through SAP and ignition and correcting any major transaction issues in the plant

â?¢

Other responsibilities include Inventory Control and reporting out exact quantities of inventory on hand through SAP and SAP Ignition while correcting any major material variance transaction issues found within the plant

â?¢

Lead floor cycle counting activities within the Technician group

â?¢

Complete cycle counts in production work centers on a regular basis

â?¢

Generate and publish SAP based reports

â?¢

Provide information to Supervision on production orders, schedules, and incorrect SAP transactions

â?¢

Develops and maintains databases related to material activity (receipts, consumption, trends)

â?¢

This allows us to go through the production order material flow and identify potential problems and conduct problem solving activities to resolve these issues

â?¢

Create cycle counts floor templates used for comparison analysis to find discrepancies

â?¢

Cycle counts are used to manage inventory levels daily, the analysis of the counts is critical to error proofing the process before moving forward with corrections that need to be made

â?¢

Create and release production orders

â?¢

Correct transactions including incorrect piece counts, materials incorrectly issued, work center hour reporting, etc

â?¢

Balance production orders and close when complete

â?¢

Research and document Schedule Accomplishment order misses

â?¢

Conduct production order analysis to find trends to see over/under consumption of components, which allows us to identify and address problems within the production orders

â?¢

This allows us to identify any systematic errors such as incorrect consumption or material values which can then lead to large adjustments or variances
