Bachelor\'s degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Two or more years of experience in data analytics or a related data science field

â?¢

Advanced understanding of data persistence systems

â?¢

Advanced understanding of data normalization and what role it plays in data quality

â?¢

Ability to write simple and in-depth correspondence, and effectively present information to individual or small groups of customers, clients, or other team members

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

â?¢

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Responsibilities

â?¢

Responsible for the integrity, quality and usability of all master data throughout our organization

â?¢

Establish a long-term strategic path to a comprehensive MDM approach and works with both end users, developers, and architects to allow the organization to effectively utilize master data

â?¢

Accountable for Data Stewardship activities in regards to master data

â?¢


Be an internal subject matter expert for our master data and its use throughout the organization

â?¢

Work with our business process engineers to continually improve work instructions and best practices for the setup and maintenance of Master Data

â?¢

Perform Master Data checking, analysis, validation and trending

â?¢

Perform root cause analysis on repetitive problems/issues caused by master data and recommend sustainable solutions

â?¢

Notify business users and others impacted by changes in master data, ensuring communication of impacts to upstream and downstream processes

â?¢

Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies

â?¢

Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity

â?¢

In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable
