Job description THIS IS A 6 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION Job Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned) Review requirements specifications and technical documents Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day, etc. Monitor the use of measuring equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn\'t meet requirements. Prepare and submit reports to the Quality Manager. Meet with vendor for final review and disposition of material. Supervise and Control of nonconforming product with Quality Technicians and communicate results to Materials department. Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. Devise and review specifications for products or processes. Participate in Internal Audits and Layered Process Audits. Support Quality department by developing of Corrective and Preventive actions. Supervise technicians and provide guidance and feedback. Train new employees on how to safely use monitoring equipment and follow procedures. Enforce strict safety guidelines. Participate in multidisciplinary groups for root-cause analysis. Document and review of procedures and work instructions for Quality process. Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis. Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.
