SAP MM/PP Lead Consultant
The SAP MM/PP Lead Consultant is expected to be the “go to person” for SAP Materials Management and Production Planning areas. This position involves a lot of client-facing and frequent interactions with client as well as the client’s 3rd Party logistics and solution partners. Further, the MM/PP Lead is expected to provide functional and technical leadership to a small team of resources (2-3, possibly more, spread on-site and off-shore) through the project life cycle.
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
Degree in Engineering and/or APICS CIRM certification
At least 10 years of SAP MM experience; and at least 5 years of PP experience
Deep, hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM module;
Good, hands-on configuration experience in PP module;
High level of proficiency and experience with EDI (must have multiple projects);
At least 5 complete SAP life cycle implementations, at least 3 as SAP Team Lead;
Ability to write complex functional specs and guide ABAP resources;
Ability to review and debug ABAP (NOT required to write code, ONLY debug);
Some factory experience (operations) is nice-to-have, but not mandatory;
2 years of experience coordinating with off-shore development is nice-to-have;
Above all, very high level of personal initiative; excellent communication skills.
