Work with project team to build on manage, support and maintain FOCUS project environments .
Perform necessary implementation and configuration tasks involving systems, database and application management with Oracle Utilities Applications and Oracle Database hosted on a Red Hat Linux Platform
Application system component build and configuration, and basic administration including patch and delta package application and monitoring/restart of critical application processes.
Database management and administration including patch application, database moves, reorganizations, ad-hoc backups and restores, Implementation of recommended tuning actions including parameter changes, data file management , problem detection and resolution, and user management
Operating system management and administration including file and storage management, administration and management of remote storage partitions, modifying kernel and operating system tuning parameters, user management administration and management of services like NTP, NFS, LDAP etc., and critical server operations like restarts, component administration (disk, memory, NIC, CPU adds), network management and Pert scripting.
Develop FOCUS application support/maintenance procedures, as well as a support/maintenance schedule .
Participate in after-hours support rotations.
Ensure that work performed and operations adhere to commonly accepted best practices in systems management and data security in addition to stated internal policies.

Mandatory skills and experience levels, applicants must possess these for consideration:

Senior-level Unix/Linux administration (minimum 5 years of experience)
Senior-level Oracle DBA experience (minimum 5 years of experience)
Corporate data center operations (minimum 5 years of experience)
