- Develop and operate an enterprise scale multi-tenant container management service
- Develop and promote cloud native application architectures and the benefits of leveraging containers and micro-services
- Integrate multiple public and private cloud and bare metal infrastructure as resources for a hybrid cloud
Skills And Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on engineering and implantation knowledge of leading container orchestration and infrastructure management tools (Kubernetes, Mesosphere DCOS, RedHat Openshift)
- Expert knowledge of public cloud providers (Amazon AWS/EC2, MS Azure, Google Compute Platform, OpenStack) and their technology offering, APIs and enterprise integration points
- Extensive design and implementation experience of enterprise grade app container orchestration infrastructure and supporting technology stacks
- Proficiency in a modern, Cloud native APIs, development languages and frameworks (Python, Ruby, Java, Node.js)
- Experience with Agile development tools (Jira, Crucible, Fisheye, Git)
- Good understanding of hardware, operating system, virtualization platforms and middleware components frequently used by Cloud providers (RedHat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, VMware products, and OpenStack)
- Understanding of security and reliability implications of financial services or similar industry
- Confident presenter, and strong influencer; able to adapt level and style to the audience.
