Job Description:
- This Scrum Master MUST have large program/project experience, be able to be hands on in understanding project requirements, implementation methodologies and processes.
- This person should have experience implementing Enterprise Agile projects using the Scrum Framework.
- Should be well versed in Scrum and Kanban frameworks
- provide guidelines and best practices in using scrum in the enterprise environment
- Creating artifacts that facilitate scrum in enterprise agile projects
- Ability to problem solve and provide practical solutions to issues
- Play the role of Scrum Master across multiple scrum teams at the same time.
- Facilitate and coach teams on the scrum rituals and the benefits of the scrum framework
- Align the goals and targets of the team with the goals of the enterprise program
- Experience using TFS for creating the product backlog and managing sprints
- Provide guidelines on testing processes and tools in enterpriseagile projects
- Ability to create project related artifacts and reports
- should be well versed in project management practices and procedures
- Experience in managing agile enterprise projects will be helpful
- CSM certification is preferred
- Works with multi-functional teams to define, estimate, and document the overall scope of projects with significant complexity; may provide direction to other Project Managers.
- Displays professionalism, quality service and a \"can do\" attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and in-person.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressively challenging experience (large-scale, multi-disciplinary Project Management) in enterprise Agile Projects is required
- Ability to use MS Project Professional 2003 or 2007 to manage project scheduling and tracking.
- Experience in all aspects of IT project management from hardware infrastructure through application development and deployment.
- Solid understanding of and experience with various methodologies used to deliver projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment where resources are often shared across projects.
- Strong planning, organizing, and coordinating skills.
- Demonstrated project leadership skills. Strong organizational skills. Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work on various teams and contribute to the success of the teams.
- Effective conflict resolution skills. Experience managing multidisciplinary tasks.
- Experience with PowerPoint, MS Project and scrum management tools.
- Experience in Pension / Retirement systems will be a PLUS.
- Bachelors Degree in IT or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required
- Six Sigma Certification desired
