Job Description

  • Reporting to the USTS Vendor and Resource Management Lead, the Work force Manager will partner with the USTS
  • leadership team and stakeholders to develop the strategy and manage tactical plans to ensure USTS has the right resources, at the right time for the right price.
Key accountabilities include:

  • Develop resourcing strategy in alignment with overall USTS and strategy ensuring the optimal mix of employees and contractors and skill sets to meet long term objectives
  • Develop and manage the Annual Planning process to align with fiscal year objectives in both number of resources and estimated cost to meet Support and Project needs
  • Provide the analysis and reporting metrics to manage performance against the plan Manage tactical Resource Demand & Capacity Planning to provide a 90 day view of future demand by role and skill set to enable timely decisions to meet needs
  • Manage the Requisition & Fulfillment process for employees and contractors to ensure performance SLAs are established and met
  • Partner with USTS and HR stakeholders to continuously improve the related processes
  • Build out process and tool capabilities to manage down to a specific skill level Ensure partner satisfaction through effective relationship management, performance reporting and problem resolution
Job Requirements

  • 4 Year degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related discipline (Masters preferred)
  • 10 years of experience in Resource Management supporting departments > 1000 resources
  • Working experience with CA Clarity Resource Management capabilities Proficient to advanced skills in MS Office required
  • Demonstrated relationship building and leadership skills with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of influence and negotiation with all levels of management
  • Proactive team player with effective time management skills; ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines/projects and keep key players informed
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written including presentation skills
  • Ability to interact and present to senior leadership required
  • Excellent decision making, analytical and problem solving skills Ability to synthesize complex issues to the key drivers and required actions
  • Demonstrated customer service attitude and orientation
  • Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with organization and Financial Services an asset Hours 8 am - 5 PM
