Information Leadership & Strategic


Conducts business information flow studies across multiple wholesale domains – Credit, Payments, Deposits, Liquidity, Sales & Client. Drives complex and comprehensive business architectures and relates those structures to the technology data environment.  Participates / Lead in developing information strategy and associated polices: provides thought leadership to define and drive information strategies and frameworks (metadata, data quality, data modeling, data integration, business intelligence, Reporting, data governance, data security, data management). Ensures data and information assets are supported by an architecture that furthers the achievement of strategic goals. Lead work groups to rationalize data provisioning and reporting for key business applications. Represent the organization on architecture review boards, COEs, and related bodies+B2.


 


Governance / Oversight


Provides critical alignment between Technology and Business processes. Ensure critical alignment to Enterprise data standards – Quality, Metadata, Linkage, Reference data, Provisioning strategy etc.


 


Program Accountability


Provide information architecture support on architecture engagements aligned to projects and initiatives, including vendor and solution assessments, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Information model definition, Information management consulting and review. Identifies business requirements and ensures the design adequately meets the requirements of the project, while remaining aligned with the overall program strategy and architecture.


 


Hands on


Must have 5-7 years of prior working knowledge / hands on experience of capabilities and direction of technology – Big data Management, ETL, MDM solutions, relational databases, columnar databases, time series databases, BI Platforms, Metadata, Lineage Quality Modeling, Sanitization, Analytics, ETL and Reporting.  Experience with normalized and dimensional data modeling as well as experience implementing metadata solutions, and bi-temporal data models.  Experience in data warehouses, analytics, decision support reporting, data sourcing, data delivery, and data governance. Extensive experience with Data warehousing tools such as Oracle and Big data tools such as Hadoop, Netezza, Teradata, Metacenter and BI Products such as Microstrategy, Cognos etc.

Must be deadline oriented, delivery and execution capable, able to identify risks and quickly resolve issues and, influence outcomes to across multiple organizations, platforms and stakeholders.  Able to think abstractly and reduce complex issues and/or solutions to simplified, actionable tasks.  Be able to influence and work at all levels of engagement - from stakeholder influence and Agile methodology deliverables.  Must be able to work with minimal supervision.  7 -1 0 years defining/establishing large, complex corporate systems


 


 


 


Desired skills


Demonstrated ability to effectively implement large-scale solutions incorporating the following capabilities: Broad based technology understanding; Strong business partnership; develop of trusted advisor relationships; Financial services experience with understanding of Wholesale Banking and information management, banking and technology trends; experience in Payments, Wholesale Credit, Channel and Treasury services preferred. Entrepreneurial mind-set with strong financial awareness and personal integrity.
